Molding 21st century minds by re-envisioning a skills based ELA classroom & fostering a ❤️ of reading & writing
My name is Tara-Lee Markides-Deighan and I have been engaging and supporting diverse learners (in my locally developed, applied and academic high school English classes) since 2006, many of whom are reluctant readers and writers, have behavioral issues, have learning disabilities or need support in increasing their critical thinking skills. I now use these skills to support students in an alternative school.
I hope that my posts can guide you in engaging and supporting the diverse learners in your classroom.
